Worksheet for Home Ec/Life Skills Class. I used this in a baking unit in Life Skills. This worksheet was the base for my curriculum lesson on SUGAR. I found students enjoyed seeing and tasting the different sugars and then seeing which was which. Students were also surprised at how many different types of sugar there are. This worksheet goes through 8 basic sugars and also includes a few points of sugar history, definition, and a list of natural sugars and synthetic/chemical/man-made sugars. This portion can lead to discussion on what type of sugars are best, healthiest, etc.
