Who doesn't love dogs?! And a well-loved art project by all ages - man's best friend! I use this to intro dog paintings. Included is general information about dogs appearing in famous artwork and then 25 examples of dogs in sculpture, manuscripts, scrolls, paintings, etc. from ancient to modern era. I have students choose their favorite and then answer the included questions. Examples are enlarged for digital or print out and many have background information included on them.
