Winter mittens — This handout gets kids rolling their creative juices and drawing mittens. These make a neat collaborative hanging and are perfect for subs, bell ringers, early finishers, etc. I like the throw in an extra challenge here and ask students to have their mittens to have a function — that they do something (the example shows them as being a hot cocoa dispenser)
