Figure Drawing — Based on Michael Paulus drawings, this unique lesson has students looking at figure drawing but with a twist — a popular cartoon character kind! A lot of fun and imagination combined with looking at skeletal structure. Students have to take a character but draw it's skeleton. It will take them first to the human skeleton and then they have to really study the shapes and morph them to fit the character they choose. Really unique project and students really enjoy this one. It's fun to display just the skeletons and try and guess what the character it belongs to.
