A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte painted in 1884, is Georges Seurat's most famous work. It is a leading example of pointillist technique, executed on a large canvas. Seurat's composition includes a number of Parisians at a park on the banks of the River Seine.
Use these coloring tiles to produce one larger collaborative team building masterpiece. Painting is in outline format with corresponding tiles. Piece together afterwards for roughly a 40"x36" piece. 16 tiles total.
Using simple materials such as colored pencils, markers, crayons, paints, pastels - each student works independently on his/her “tile.” Once completed, the tiles are joined together to form the whole. Simply trim away the excess paper and tape or glue the squares together on the back. Each tile is numbered, they correspond to the master numbered page.
