Neolithic Art History Period — Working through the timeline of art history we study Prehistoric and then Neolithic. Generally, Neolithic Art really focuses in on megaliths but I wanted something else that was a little more interesting for an art project. So, we built the Wall of Jericho. This includes the history of the Jericho Wall with interesting facts about it and the city. Although the entirety of the Biblical history through scripture is not included, it can be found easily and integrated from the book of Joshua, chapter 6. Enlarged images are included, some with facts, for print or digital display. Teacher's page for instructions on how to construct the Jericho Wall like the example shown in also included. Challenge older students by requiring great detail, while younger students can keep this very simple.
