Graphic Design LOGO History — There are very few resources about the history of graphic design, especially logo design. I encourage learning the history in any art, design or photography class — with understanding where design started and came from, it makes present design stronger and more meaningful. 
 
This presentation takes you through 9 movements in logo history including Victorian, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Early Modern, Modern, Art Deco, Late Modern, Post Modern and Minimalistic Digital. Gives a description and examples for each. Print or digitally display each slide as you walk your students through the different movements. Also included is a worksheet where students have to identify what movement each logo comes from.
