Great designers are also know their history, brainstorm and research-research-research. Continued and constant research, both contemporary and historical, is a key ingredient to being an exceptional designer. Every designer must cultivate a rich personal library of references to work from, because these become the ingredients of your own design process. Let’s look at what movements have made design what it is today.

Examples of each style so students can see them visually. 2 page worksheet includes additional examples of each style and students have to label each as to what style it's in. Great visual practice to cement the styles. 6 pages total with answers.
