Australia: Comic Strips — We did a whole year of Art Around the World and when we visited Australia we figured the best way to combine many elements together was to look at comic strips. This resource includes Australian cartoon artists and some facts about them (Use for print or digital display). We had students create a comic strip based on these, they had to design and write a script. Our requirements was that they include Australian elements in their designs so there are two pages of Australian architure, animals, flag, natural resources, plants, etc. Students enjoyed, pictured is work from Grade 5.
