Drawing with Every Day Objects — A pear isn't a pear anymore... it turns into the body of a song bird!? What other fun can you have with found objects, turning them in to cartoons, other objects, animals, people, etc. Students request this one from me as they find their little creations delightful. This is great for students to really stretch their imagination. I've used as a bell ringer, sub plan, early finisher, sketchbook assignment, warm up, etc. Students of all ages can find this challenging. I love it far better in full color but works with black and white too.
