Let us Introduce Ourselves
This is me — Tonya. I didn’t spend my entire career in the classroom. I actually spent many years as a graphic designer and photographer after college. Then I had kids...and started volunteer teaching in their school and fell in love with teaching. My design work is still there in the background but my calling has been in the classroom now for over 15 years.
A quick glance at some of my professional design work includes George Eastman International Museum of Photography, Xerox, Grace College, Mailshark and many other design projects. My teaching career includes K-12 private schools and you can find me teaching still at school. We make our home in the beautiful hills of the Ozark Mountains now after living in the New England area for years.
Emmie — That’s my daughter. She spent her younger years in my classroom and then went on to college to study graphic design. She also helps out in my classroom as a student teacher. She uses her skills to help develop our website, social media and creates unique resources.
